Other Ways to Give

Support Yuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way by Donating Your Car!

Buying a new car? Getting rid of an old one? Selling isn’t your only option. We’ve teamed up with Donate for Charity to make donating your vehicle easy. It’s a win for all: you get a minimum $500 tax deduction (or higher, depending on what your car sells for) and Yuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way receives the net proceeds to support our program.

By donating your car, you’ll avoid the headache of selling a used vehicle. Whether the vehicle is running or not, Donate For Charity can help process the donation. We certainly appreciate our donors considering this option as a way to help support our cause. You can either click on the link below or call Donate For Charity directly at (866) 392-4483.

AmazonSmile

AmazonSmile is another way to support Yuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way.

How does AmazonSmile Work?
When first visiting AmazonSmile, customers are prompted to select a charitable organization. In order to browse or shop at AmazonSmile, customers must first select a charitable organization. For eligible purchases at AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to the customer's selected charitable organization.

Benefit Program

Benefit is a pre-paid mobile payments platform that empowers individuals to give to the non-profits that matter most to them through their everyday transactions.

Benefit works by purchasing gift cards and instantly redeeming directly from your phone as a method of payment. This can be done at home while shopping online or in-store in the checkout line. Every purchase results in a percentage of the transaction being contributed to the charity of your choice, including Yuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way! You pay and Benefit gives!

For more information about Benefit, contact Terry at the Yuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way, (530) 743-1847 or email: terry@yscunitedway.org.
